LIGHT AND COLOR: WHERE THE EMOTIONS OF LIVING “PASS”.
It is the choices made in a restyling project that influence the balance of the final result. In this important space, preserving the marble of the floor and intercepting the value of the wood to be restored to their original state were the first steps to connect the past and future of living, maintaining that “touch of yesteryear” required by such unique environments.
THE CAPITAL APARTMENT LOOKS LIKE THIS: WITH AREAS THAT FLOW ONE INTO ANOTHER.
An entrance that projects directly into the unusual dining room, where the Bliss table (Febal Casa) stands out, immediately declaring the intention of the space and of those who live there to welcome, live and entertain. In this environment, a combination of natural brass pendant lamps with a warm and light light (Bontempi Casa) stands out.
LIVING IN COLOUR.
None of the large environments are ever abruptly interrupted, rather they are designed to give a frame to the experiences and use of the places. The heights of the ceilings have stimulated the inclusion of full-height bookcases which act as wings to the openings between one area and another, being able to count on the always elegant flexibility of the Charlotte pass-through bookcases (Bontempi Casa). The colors of the rooms open a dialogue on the emotional tone of the entire house. This is a place where you not only live, but tune in. The gray of the dining area at the entrance continues to wrap the perimeter of the rooms. Then, it gives up space on some walls to communicate the feeling of the entire project and almost play with the intentions of the settings and furnishings.
IN THE KITCHEN. AN ISLAND TO CIRCUMNAVIGATE, A MOMENT TO STOP AND BE CAPTURED BY THE ENERGY OF THE DAY.
The dining room speaks with a kitchen which, although linear, does not appear to be either plastered or austere, allowing the accent to be placed on the dark wooden worktop deliberately contrasting with the light oak floors.
EXPRESS YOURSELF IN THE KITCHEN.
The Class wall kitchen houses the operational area perfectly integrated into the architecture and designed with a portal that enhances its depth.
The choice of the Ego Line Over island (Febal Casa), which has a hob and a “snack space”, was courageous and provocative. Those who cross the parking space circumnavigate it to stop in the environment and enjoy the light and the view of the city, filtered through the bow windows, whose frames have been restored to their historic status, without being modified.
LIVING: THE FLUID FORM OF BEAUTY.
The flexibility of furnishing by combining the two Diciotto and Quarantacinque living systems (Febal Casa) allows the living room to maintain liveliness and resilience. A space of inclusive and discreet sociality, where the Coney sofa and the Sun and Newman coffee tables create a dynamic and functional relaxation area.
The combination of finishes and colors projects the apartment into contemporaneity. A timeless place where the architecture’s original boiserie wall frames find space, redesigned with new proportions.
THE BEDROOM: WE GIVE SHAPE TO WELL-LIVING.
The “temperature” of the sleeping area coordinates with a key concept: depth. It is an elite color that was chosen for the bow window area. A brick color that speaks of travel, exploration, self-expression. The niche accommodates the beauty routine with the Secret console (Bontempi Casa).
DESIGN AND INTIMACY.
The master bedroom literally lets the character these spaces are intended for “shine through”. The mix between the Softcase padded bed with the Ermes bed frame in Passirio Gray chosen to communicate rest and intimacy meets the design of the Aurora walk-in wardrobe, where the stopsol glass allows a glimpse of the intelligent division of the wardrobe.
In this room, journeys are thought of and moments of intimacy are collected.
